Your Role In the Proven Duplicatable System: 6 Things You Must Do

palm_tree12Picture a tree standing in a field. There are numerous branches on the tree, some of which look vibrant and others that look dead. Why will the branches on the same tree exhibit different characteristics? The reason is not far fetched. The dead branches are lacking nutrients from the source.

In a similar fashion, you as a network marketer owe it to yourself to tap into the source of your success which is the duplicatble system that is in place in your organization. You and your fellow marketers must plug into the system to be successful just as the branches need the vine of the tree to survive. 

Below are 6 things that you must commit to do in order to benefit from any system that you are currently plugged into.

1. Coachable/Teachable
If you want to build your business in the fastest manner possible you must be teachable and willing to be coached. Be attentive to your mentor or sponsor. They have a lot to pass on to you.  Just like a professional team led by a coach, you must be willing to follow instructions.

2. Accountable
Building relationships is all that network marketing is about. These relationships are built on trust, and to earn and maintain that trust you have to be accountable. Accountability means that when we promise to work with someone, we follow through; and when we commit to attend an event, we’re there and on time.

3. Willing to Change
To get what you want and set your dreams in motion will require you to make some changes.  Don’t expect to do what you’ve always done and expect a different result.  It does not work that way! This is why you need to plug into a system that has been proven to work.

4.  Team Player
Play your part on the team. If there is an agreement to get certain things done by a specific time do well to keep your commitment. If for some reason you can not make it happen, inform your team leader. Not doing your part of the responsibilities tends to weaken team morale. Never try going solo in networking marketing. If you try you’ll fail miserably.

5. Self-Development
You must work on yourself more than you do on your business. Network marketing is a people’s business. To attract people into your business you need have a positive attitude. Read personal development books and join a mastermind group where you can speak the same language with like-minded people.

6. Student of the Industry
You need to be educated to be successful in the network marketing industry just like in anything that you do. Why is there a 98% failure rate in network marketing? People are not being educated with the right skills and knowledge that they need to succeed. You owe it to yourself to get the necessary education to understand what you are getting yourself into.
